Adopting OER on any scale can be daunting but can have enormous benefits. The Madison College Math department decided to review OER as an option for print and courseware materials as commercial publishers changed their access after COVID. Starting in 2021 the department began the review process of OER and collaborated along with the Bookstore and OER Librarian. Over the past two years 28 sections have switched to OER as their primary text as well as implementing MyOpenMath courseware. Join this discussion to hear about this process from multiple perspectives and the various benefits this change has provided for students, and faculty at Madison College.
